My CF motobecane came with the Kaliente tire which gave fantastic service life.However; the Kaliente was rated as a dry road tire so I bought a set of the Kriteriums and found them to be even better at low rolling resistance and puncture resistance while offering far better wet road traction.Impressed as I was I wanted to make sure I had a spare set.It took some searching but I found the Kriteriums (thru Amazon)and bought 3 spare sets. I have put in over 1000 miles on this type of tire from Kenda, and they are great! Very smooth on the road. One day my rear tire got punctured in the middle by a staple on the road. The tire was ok, but I had to change my inner tube. Its got good grip on cornering also. The size of my tire is currently 700x25c and its doing great on my road bike with over 1000 miles. I am planning to replace both with the size 700x23c next time...after I put about 2000 miles on my current ones. They are also light in weights. Only around 250 grams for 25c and 200 grams for 23c. For urban settings and work, I experience this is certainly a terrific boot.

The thick sole is still holding up well, and will probably keep a great tread for at least an additional six months, based to the rate of don up to now. I can even dress in thick socks and so they come to feel fine.
